MOTHER EFFECT GROUPS

We have networks across Australia where we support mothers in their local area to start a mothers group.

We provide mentoring and encouragement and resources when needed.

Each local area has local needs and each point leader has a feel for what the young mothers need in their local area.

In Mother Effect we see that there are key elements to include in a mothers group experience to ensure they are interactive, relevant and helpful to the growth of women within their vocation.

A weekly group has these 3 elements.

  1. An environment that is a formation to the adult and practices the mother child bond.
  2. A circle time together as mums and bubs where the child's way is the centre, it can be play, dance, music, a presentation, worship even prayer. This is such an enriching time.
  3. Proclamation of the Good News where we present a bible story with miniature materials that aide in the clear communication of the Gospel message to children. We use all sorts of stimulus to achieve this, food, gardening, instruments or dancing.

All the parents join in too as there is always more to learn and reflect upon.

We experiment with materials that aide in the family clearly communicating of the Gospel message to children.

We are also passionate to assist parents to become effective communicators of the faith to their children.

We also have times where we share stories of what families have done in their homes to keep the faith alive.

We seek to awaken and empower the domestic church by clearly demonstrating  ways to celebrate the faith in homes from day to day.

There is no cost to come to a group.

We can facilitate a group starting in your local area.
